Smart Manufacturing System Solution Provider Alliance 2024 Annual Conference Grandly Held at EVOC

The 2024 Annual Conference of the Smart Manufacturing System Solution Provider Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the "Alliance") was held at Yanxiang Group's Beijing branch on January 9, 2025. Attendees included Zhu Sendi, Honorary Director of the National Smart Manufacturing Expert Committee; Zhang Xiangmu, Deputy Director of the same committee; Wang Ruihua, former First-Level Inspector of the Department of Equipment Industry II of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT); Zhao Fengjie, Director of the Smart Manufacturing Division of the Department of Equipment Industry I of MIIT; Fan Kefeng, Vice President of the China Electronics Standardization Institute and Secretary-General of the Alliance; Zhang Jun, Director of the Industrial Digitalization Promotion Division of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology; Wang Zhenlin, Chairman of Beijing Mechanical Industry Automation Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Rotating Chairman of the Alliance; and Chen Zhilie, NPC Deputy, Director of the National Special Computer Engineering Technology Research Center, and Chairman of the Board of Yanxiang High-Tech Holding Group. The conference was hosted by Zhuo Lan, Deputy Director of the IoT Research Center at the China Electronics Standardization Institute and Executive Secretary-General of the Alliance.

In his welcome speech, Chen Zhilie, Chairman of Yanxiang High-Tech Holding Group, first extended a warm welcome to the leaders and guests attending the conference. He stated that as the chair unit of the Shenzhen Sub-Alliance and a high-tech manufacturing enterprise, Yanxiang has continuously explored new technologies, processes, and models over the past 30 years, committed to achieving secure, autonomous, and controllable industrial smart manufacturing technologies, products, and systems. The company has made numerous breakthroughs in the industry, filling many domestic gaps, and has achieved large-scale applications in over 30 core sectors of the national economy. Yanxiang will continue to inject "accelerators" into the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry, promoting industrial advancement and transformation, and contributing to the high-end, intelligent, and green development of China's manufacturing sector.

In his speech, Director Zhao Fengjie emphasized that smart manufacturing is the main direction for building a strong manufacturing nation, an important task in advancing new industrialization, and the primary battlefield for driving the digital and intelligent transformation of manufacturing. After years of development, China's smart manufacturing has achieved significant results. First, over 230 "excellence-level" smart factories and more than 1,200 "advanced-level" smart factories have been gradually established, significantly improving the construction level of smart factories in China. Second, more than 6,500 solution providers have been cultivated, covering all manufacturing sectors, and the supply capacity of smart manufacturing has been upgraded. Third, over 130 standard application pilot projects have been supported, promoting the formation of a series of mature and effective enterprise standard clusters. Fourth, experts and suppliers have been organized to provide public services to more than 5,000 enterprises, and international cooperation and exchanges have been continuously carried out, steadily improving the public service system for smart manufacturing. She stressed that the Alliance should focus on "strengthening its own capacity building, improving service levels, and better leveraging its supportive role" to ensure tangible results in the "upgraded version" of smart manufacturing.

In his speech, Vice President Fan Kefeng pointed out that with the attention and support of all sectors of society, the application effectiveness of solutions in China has become increasingly significant, the supplier team has continued to grow, and the Alliance's brand and influence have steadily increased. First, the accelerated application and promotion of system solutions have strongly supported the digital and intelligent transformation of manufacturing. Second, the comprehensive capabilities of suppliers have significantly improved, contributing to the rapid enhancement of the smart manufacturing service system. Third, the Alliance's brand influence has continued to rise, creating a favorable atmosphere for joint efforts to advance smart manufacturing. In the next step, the Alliance will thoroughly implement the work requirements of the Department of Equipment Industry I of MIIT, systematically plan various tasks, and promote the "upgraded version" of smart manufacturing to deepen and solidify.

In his video speech, Chairman Wang Zhenlin proposed that in 2024, the Alliance thoroughly implemented the arrangements of the National New Industrialization Promotion Conference, aiming to build a "trinity" work system of smart factories, solutions, and standard systems. It effectively carried out work such as improving organizational service capabilities, promoting solution applications, and cultivating and optimizing the ecosystem, becoming one of the most professional, widely covered, and influential organizations in the field of smart manufacturing in China.

Director Zhang Xiangmu delivered a keynote report titled "Digital and Intelligent Transformation of Manufacturing in the Era of Industrial AI." He proposed that building highly intelligent smart manufacturing systems with "industrial large models + embodied intelligence" as the core is the primary task for deepening smart manufacturing in the era of industrial AI. He believes that smart manufacturing equipment and industrial software are indispensable core components of smart manufacturing systems. Although high-end equipment and industrial software have been China's shortcomings, by advancing the "AI + manufacturing equipment" and "AI + industrial software" initiatives, it is entirely possible to achieve overtaking on a new track.

At the conference, Zhang Jun, Director of the Industrial Digitalization Promotion Division of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, shared the progress of smart manufacturing in Zhejiang Province. Jiao Guotao, Deputy Director of the Smart Manufacturing Research Office at the IoT Center of the China Electronics Standardization Institute; Tao Fei, Member of the National Smart Manufacturing Expert Committee and Dean of the International Frontier Interdisciplinary Science Research Institute at Beihang University; Liu Bo, Chief Technologist of the Sixth Design and Research Institute of Mechanical Industry; and Pei Jianping, Deputy Chief Engineer of China Aviation Industry Qing'an Group Co., Ltd., delivered thematic reports titled "Alliance 2024 Work Report and Research Analysis on the Development of Suppliers and Solutions in China," "Digital Twins and Digital Engineering Theory and Practice for Complex Equipment Lifecycles," "Green and Smart Factory System Integration Solutions for the Equipment Manufacturing Industry," and "Thoughts and Practices on Digital and Intelligent Transformation in Discrete Manufacturing for Aviation Onboard Systems," respectively.

The conference held an awarding ceremony for the Medical Devices Sub-Alliance and the Dalian Sub-Alliance, recognizing outstanding system solution providers, experts, sub-alliances, and individuals. Two key achievements were released: the "Compilation of Typical Cases of Smart Manufacturing System Solutions (2024)" and the "Research Report on Equipment Digital Twins (2024)."

In recent years, Yanxiang Group has launched products and systems such as liquid-cooled servers for big data centers, intelligent code readers, machine vision inspection equipment, industrial AI servers, and one-stop smart park pain-point solutions.
