The event was chaired by Jiao Guotao, Deputy Director of the Smart Manufacturing Research Office at the IoT Research Center of the China Electronics Standardization Institute.
In her opening speech, Lin Shimei, Executive Vice President of Yanxiang Group, extended a warm welcome to the leaders and guests attending the conference and expressed heartfelt gratitude to those who have long supported Yanxiang's development.
Wang Wenhua, Director of the Equipment Industry Division of Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, congratulated the conference on its successful opening. He emphasized that intelligent manufacturing is an inevitable trend in industrial development in the new era, and AI, as a key technology driving this transformation, is continuously pushing manufacturing toward high-end, intelligent, and green development.
In recent years, Shenzhen has actively responded to national calls, implemented innovation-driven development strategies, and promoted the integration of intelligent manufacturing and AI. The city has established several national-level intelligent manufacturing demonstration factories and application scenarios, achieving remarkable results. More Shenzhen enterprises are actively engaging in "Manufacturing + AI" innovation, injecting strong momentum into industrial transformation and high-quality development.
Moving forward, the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology will continue to uphold the principles of open cooperation and mutual benefit, providing strong policy support and a favorable environment for the innovation and development of intelligent manufacturing and AI. The bureau will also increase investment, improve the industrial system, optimize the innovation ecosystem, and promote the implementation of more innovative achievements in Shenzhen.
Fan Kefeng, Vice President of the China Electronics Standardization Institute, stated that intelligent manufacturing is the main direction for building a strong manufacturing nation, an important task in advancing new industrialization, and the primary battlefield for driving the digital and intelligent transformation of manufacturing. In November last year, Minister Jin Zhuanglong emphasized the need to actively advance standardization in intelligent manufacturing during his visit to the institute.
In recent years, the China Electronics Standardization Institute has prioritized supporting intelligent manufacturing, with standardization as the core focus. Efforts have been made to cultivate and uate suppliers, supporting the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and local authorities in promoting intelligent manufacturing development. Notable achievements include expanding and improving comprehensive intelligent manufacturing standardization, guiding industry practices, strengthening supplier development, and enhancing uation frameworks to provide scientific guidance for intelligent manufacturing progress.
Next steps include transforming and promoting competition results, facilitating collaboration between projects and enterprises or investors, and leveraging media resources to increase visibility and impact, driving the "upgraded version" of intelligent manufacturing forward.
Experts from various companies delivered keynote speeches at the conference.
Chen Chao, Chief Technology Officer of Yanxiang Group, presented a report titled "Industrial Intelligence Empowering New Industrialization." He elaborated on the current state of the industry, industrial intelligence systems, implementation paths, and Yanxiang's development. He highlighted AI as the "super engine" of the 21st century, empowering new industrialization with unprecedented depth and breadth, making its path clearer.
Chen Pengguang, Senior Technical Director of Shenzhen SmartMore Technology Co., Ltd., discussed "Exploring and Practicing Industrial Large Models for Manufacturing Intelligence," introducing the SMore ViMo intelligent industrial platform. This platform automates visual inspection model development and deploys them flexibly across devices and production lines, significantly shortening delivery cycles and supporting manufacturing transformation.
Wang Xu, High-End Equipment Manufacturing Industry Manager at the AI Division of Tongfang Knowledge Network Digital Publishing Technology Co., Ltd., presented "Empowering Enterprise Innovation with Huazhi Large Models," showcasing CNKI's vector knowledge base and industry-specific large models, including agricultural, standards, and regulatory models.
An Zaiqiu, Senior Technical Expert of CRRC Tangshan Co., Ltd., shared "Digital Intelligence Empowering Rail Transit: AI Practices," detailing smart rail applications like pantograph detection, track geometry inspection, tunnel inspection, and noise monitoring systems.
Li Shisen, Head of αLab Studio at MGI Tech Co., Ltd., spoke on "Large Models Enabling Smart Management in Life Science Labs," explaining how AI enhances lab automation through machine learning and computer vision for adaptive adjustments and intelligent decision-making.
The conference also featured the launch of the "Standardization Research Report on Industrial Large Models for Intelligent Manufacturing," presented by Li Ruiqi, Senior Engineer at the China Electronics Standardization Institute.
Today, AI's integration with manufacturing empowers R&D, production, supply, sales, and service, becoming a key driver of digital and intelligent transformation. It plays a central role in forming new productive forces and advancing new industrialization.
As a private high-tech manufacturing enterprise, Yanxiang Group has focused on secure, autonomous industrial intelligence since 1993. Over 30 years, it has launched products like intelligent code readers, vision inspection devices, industrial AI terminals and servers, and smart wearables, offering solutions from data collection and connectivity to analysis and application development. These efforts drive "Manufacturing + AI" integration and industrial implementation.
Looking ahead, Yanxiang will deepen the fusion of manufacturing and AI, steering traditional industries toward high-end, intelligent, and green development, injecting sustained vitality into sustainable, high-quality manufacturing progress.
