System Introduction

The security system contains video surveillance system, access control system, alarm system, intelligent fire alarm system, luggage inspection system, and drug/explosive detection system. All the systems need an integrated security platform. Video surveillance system is the core part.

Major Concerns of Stadium Security

1) Crowded area
The requirements for video surveillance system are stability, reliability and quick response. It shall identify an alarm in first time and incorporate multiple functions such as informing security personnel to respond as soon as possible and saving all the images after an alarm is sounded for future reference.

2) Protection of visitors and athletes
24-hour protection for key facilities is required. Uninterrupted tracking is required to ensure the safety of state leaders, IOC officials, media reporters from abroad, celebrities and athletes.

3) Overall security of the sports center
A sports center usually consists of stadium, training area, swimming pool, business district and so on. As a building complex, it overall security shall be taken into consideration.

4) Anti-riot and anti-terrorist tasks
Front-end equipment shall be provided to monitor sensitive districts and targets, in coordination with anti-theft alarm system, emergency alarm and access control system. Upon an alarm, the electronic map of the affected area can be retrieved, and the real-time image pops up to track and lock the target. The alarm function can also work with the video camera. 
 
System Principle
The video surveillance camera can convert video image signals into digital network signals, which are then transferred to the video server, and the images will be recorded into the video data server connected to the WAN or a specific network for remote image calling and surveillance. The surveillance center can monitor multiple video/video image and security information through the network and control the front end. The video surveillance server can record front side images and save them in a storage device such as the fire control host or the security host.

System Evaluation
