System Introduction
With the development of power industry, power plants, power substations and communication stations are required to introduce automatic monitoring system to achieve less attended or unattended supervision, saving costs and improving production efficiency. Meanwhile, the monitoring system, power dispatching system and office automation system are properly combined to form an integrated business management system.

System Requirements
It is required to establish a monitoring center in the power dispatching management center and build video and audio data acquisition units in power plants and substations to remotely acquire and monitor relevant data and images, so as to grasp the situation of substations in a real-time, accurate and direct manner, respond promptly, and save and analyze related data to support future decision-making and improvement.
In the system, the host computer of the unattended station can receive video, audio and data signals. Such signals as video and audio signals directly access monitoring host computer, while digital signals access IPC-810E industrial PC via EVOC ARK24000 automation module and PCI-based module. The data of power substations is sent to the monitoring center through LAN/ISDN/PSTN/DDN. The monitoring center can control and monitor all power substations. In the monitoring center, it is also applicable to allow separate control by the supervisor, which can check the conditions of power substations and the personnel on duty from time to time. In addition, the information can be uploaded to the superior department through remote networking, creating a tertiary network architecture.
