As a business establishment in which money is kept for saving or commercial purposes or is invested, supplied for loans, or exchanged, the bank requires enhanced security and the enhanced ability to protect itself from security threats. In this regard, a monitoring system with high performance and reliability, based on EVOC industrial PC, has been widely used by most banks in China.

System Principle

The whole system consists of four parts: ATM monitoring system, business hall monitoring system, the monitoring system of the bank’s central computer room, alarm processing and uploading subsystem.

ATM video surveillance monitors the locale of each transaction and provides the video records for any transaction disputes, malicious overdraft and crimes as well as behaviors that inflict damages to ATMs. According to different operations like monitoring, vibration, cashing out and approaching, the software activates corresponding recording mode. When detecting strong vibration, the detector emits an alarm trigger signal to activate the recorder to record, and at the same time the sound and light alarm device sends a warning signal.

The business hall monitoring system includes front-end equipment, transmission equipment, control equipment, display and recording equipment. It monitors the daily work activities of tellers and provides video records for bank business management, transaction disputes and any other crimes. Therefore, it requires high-resolution video images, long-time recording and record retrieval function, as well as a stable, convenient and intelligent system.

System Evaluation

EVOC's industrial PC-based bank monitoring system is freely extensible. The audio/video switcher can transfer audio/video signals to other equipment (when remote transmission is needed). Connecting to the alarm, it displays alarms automatically via host controller. It can connect to 8-channel alarms simultaneously and can be equipped with various normally open contact sensors (such as active and passive infrared, foot switch, emergency button, etc.).
