First Stop of 2009 Marketing Promotion of EVOC Group

---A Visit to North China Electric Power Design Institute

With the advent of 2009, EVOC is having its marketing promotion in the new year gradually unfold. Recently, Strategic Marketing Institute of EVOC Group visited North China Electric Power Design Institute, and engineers from both sizes held in-depth discussion about EVOC' s products specially designed for electric power industry and probed into some typical application cases.



During the symposium, Strategic Marketing Institute of EVOC Group first introduced the history of EVOC, EVOC' s position in the IPC industry, its R&D capability and advantages in power industry. Then, Strategic Marketing Institute introduced and showcased two products specially tailored to the electric power industry: TPC-8401 and TXM6511. TPC-8401, a 4U rackmount complete PC, is designed with high performance and expansibility, as well as consideration to anti-shock, EMC and maintainability, etc. All these have improved to the fullest extent the reliability of the product running in the harsh industrial environment. TXM-6511 is a Power PC Core-Board based on FREESCALE processor. Connected with backplane via four connectors, the Power PC Core-Board features low power, rich interface, stability, reliability and convenient upgrade, etc. The engineers of North China Electric Power Design Institute showed great interests in these two products, and held spirited discussion with technicians from EVOC about the architecture, applied fields and R&D cycle of the products. During the Q&A session of the symposium, both sizes probed into multi-serial port communication managing devices and other products and application cases.
