EVOC and Loongson Unveil the Created in China Era of Chipset

--Strategic Co-operation Agreement between EVOC and Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences

On the morning of December 8, 2008, EVOC Group and Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the application of embedded technology at Capital Hotel, Beijing. For the purpose of the cooperation, they jointly established embedded application joint laboratories and held the unveiling ceremony.

On the press conference themed "the Created in China Era of Chipset", Simon Chen, board chairman of EVOC Group, and Li Guojie, director of Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, gave speeches on the cooperation and signed the strategic cooperation agreement. This cooperation marks the fact that Chinese embedded and industrial computing industry has made "Created in China" come true in an all-around way, and China' s technologies have reached a higher level.

Over a month ago, EVOC Group launched its "EVOC Inside" brand strategy, followed by this cooperation with Loongson. This shows that EVOC is committed to its Created in China efforts. Under this strategic cooperation with Loongson, EVOC has also launched a number of globally unprecedented Loongson CPU based embedded products such as Loongson 2E automobile computer featuring wide temperature range, vibration and water resistance, Loongson 2E PC104 architecture embedded computer, Loongson 2E 1U 19" standard rackmount box PC for network security, Loongson 2E 4-port network application motherboard and other high-performance, low-power new products.
